Kevin Dunn is a lighting designer originally hailing from outside Boston, Massachusetts and is currently based in New York City. Currently they spend most of their time working as an assistant designer for The Lighting Design Group on broadcast projects in New York and Internationally. In their free time they find work as an associate designer for off Broadway and opera productions, as well as designing lighting for nightlife performances in Brooklyn.
They have been incredibly lucky to spend the last ten years working as a designer, assistant,programmer and electrician across the worlds of theater, opera, broadcast television and nightlife. Synthesizing the aesthetics from this wide variety of experiences across genres has been essential to the development of their style as a designer.
Outside of their design work Kevin is an avid lover of the outdoors partaking in hiking, climbing and cycling whenever they can.
